Rainbolt's Book Store, Naenae, 1970Words matter.
Always have.
I learned this early on in my grandparents' bookshop in Wellington, where books weren't just stories, they were tools for thinking. The right words made complex ideas simpler, and pulled you in deep. That principle still guides everything I do.
Before Rainbolt, I spent over a decade working across Scandinavia leading content and experience design for some of the world's most recognised brands. Volvo Cars, Husqvarna, Lynk & Co, Essity. Platforms built across 40+ markets. A campaign that sold 1,927 cars in 47 hours. A social presence grown from zero to a million.
At Publicis Sapient I led the Content Design practice across four Nordic offices, delivered enterprise digital transformation across automotive, health, and manufacturing, and sat on the Global Content Design Leadership team, a small group shaping how content design was practised and taught across a 20,000-person organisation. I've been a Webby Awards judge since 2021.
Rainbolt is how I work now. Independently, with clients across New Zealand and internationally, on projects where you need to genuinely make a difference.
