Rainbolt's book shop, Naenae, 1970
Words matter.
Always have.
My grandparent’s surname was Rainbolt. They owned a book shop in Naenae, Wellington. They passed on to me the value of stories. And that words matter.
I also learned that books weren't just stories, they were a window into someone else's thinking. Done right, a book lets you 'get it' instantly, because someone has already boiled the thinking down to the essence.
That is the principle that more or less guides everything I do: boil it down to the essence. Keep what works, discard the rest.
Before Rainbolt, I spent over a decade working across Scandinavia with some of the world's most recognised brands. Volvo Cars, Husqvarna, Lynk & Co, Essity, SKF.
I’m now in Auckland and always keen for a catch up!
